I was so excited to have a close friend start doing microblading. She was still learning but had instructors that would be there while she was doing brows. I made an appointment, and as my friend got started, all of the instructors left for the night and my friend proceeded to do my brows on her own, with no one to assist or check how things were going. Unfortunately, my brows did NOT turn out well. Over the next year or so, my friend tried reshaping, doing slight removals in some areas, along with redoing other areas to get them to look better, in between healing times. Looking back at pictures, I’m so sad at how I looked in them. I tried every day to cover them up a bit. In the meantime, Laura had started doing my eyelashes. I have LOVED my eyelashes! Over the past couple of years, Laura and I would talk about my brows, and she would mention ways that she could help, if I was interested, but she understood someone else was already doing them. Finally, I decided to take her up on it. I wanted to have her just do a complete removal. It has been a process, since there were several layers of pigment, but for the last 6 months, after a couple of removals, a couple of micro blading/shading sessions, I am so happy with my brows! They are the perfect shape, the perfect color, and I only use gel to control my very blonde, very straight brows. Laura is incredibly knowledgable, and makes you feel comfortable with what she will be doing. She is great to talk to, and has become a very dear friend. I would recommend Laura 10/10! It’s been a long, frustrating process that unfortunately is on my face, but Laura corrected it, and made me feel so good about myself. If you are wondering if you should have your brows or lashes done, I can tell you from experience, you’ll want to just go to the best! :) -Stacy
