Do you premake lash fans?! After lashing 10 years I still use downtime to prep fans (not every time… I scroll too) but if you’re looking to increase your speed you should DEFINITELY be premaking and practicing fans in your down time!

Did you know you can REMOVE your old PMU?! It doesn’t have to be a ‘botched’ job to need a little removal! Some PMU is just too saturated to correct the color! We did one removal session to lighten her brows enough to go through and get her back to her target color and that beautiful brown brow!

Some clients may require more than one it’s hard to judge how much pigment will lift, you may require two sessions to lighten enough but it’s worth it! Some brows are too saturated and grey to get back to brown!

Have I said I love what I do?! Cause… damn! These brows are just 😚🤌🏻

Are you having issues with your lash glue exploding when you open it??? Let the girls breathe!!! Shake your glue topless! Shaking your glue (or PMU pigment) with the lid on will absolutely lead to a mess. Get an adhesive wipe, cover the nozzle, shake and voilà!!! No more exploding glue!

Be sure to store your glue upright, in an airtight container and always burp & wipe your nozzle after each time!

When scheduling your initial appointment, you have to realize quality work come with a price!! And in the long run it’s worth it.

When you find an artist, look at their work, their healed results, find an artists whose style is your desired outcome and work your budget around their pricing.

Choosing based on ‘cheaper’ option and not end result can cost you more in the long run.

Bad PMU for $100…. Removal for $250 per session, you could need 2-3… $500-750…. Then their price $500+… you can end up spending over $1000 correcting bad PMU… instead of spending the money initially for the PMU you WANT…

Lash artists are not created equal. We all have our own styles and different skill levels. Even lash artists of equal skill sets will have different styles. **In 8 years I’ve have ONE foreign fill that looked exactly like my own work (and it was actually super weird, like running into my doppelgänger or something)

It’s difficult to blend styles, when you come to me for a fill from another artist I want you looking like you’re wearing a full set of my lashes.

It takes more time and TLC to blend the two styles (even from a great artist). Depending on the condition and quality of the existing lashes, your lashes may need to be removed and a full set may be the best option.

Not all lashes and lash artists are created equal and I want you being the best representation of my skill and business!

If you’ve got bad habits as a beauty artist/service provider, it WILL cost you clients. Over promising and under achieving, constantly rescheduling, running late, not communicating pricing, taking their scheduled time for personal use (texting, eating, etc) you WILL lose clients.

Listen, I love my clients like they’re my own family and most will probably have to speak at my funeral, but I never lose sight of the fact that they are coming to me for a service… a service they’re paying for. If you’re not fulfilling every aspect of that service and bringing value to them for that service, they won’t be a client for long. Have a high standard for yourself and your business. Make sure you and the services you provide are worth their time and money. Happy clients will always send you more happy clients!

Set proper expectations from day one with every single client and never take your clients for granted!
